4 TOWNHOUSES- NORTH MELBOURNE

 

This project involved the demolition of an existing building and the development of four new townhouses on a compact site with restricted access and outlook.

 

Each house has four levels and a roof deck with city vistas.

 

The grand piano curve of the upper levels lightens and softens the forms and creates a contrast with the block forms below.

 

Translucent vertical louvres to the first floor deck of the front apartment not only provides privacy for the neighbours opposite but they also allow and a glimpse up the street to the Town hall.
