HOLIDAY HOUSE - BIG HILL SUBDIVISION, LORNE

 

 This Project involved the renovation of an existing 'fibro' shack into a new holiday house on the Great Ocean Road overlooking the ocean.

 

The remnants of the existing structure were enclosed in a timber box framework to order the elements and merge the house into the native forest setting.

 

Unfortunately, on completion, it was burnt to the ground in the Ash Wednesday bush-fires.

 

A new corrugated iron design was proposed on the same site but was never built.
